Well, it’s a very special day today. It’s Barack Obama’s birthday. What this means to you is: if it’s also your birthday today, maybe someday it will be a national holiday, and I won’t have to go to work on your birthday any more. I’m looking at you, W. R. Thornton (happy birthday). (The rest of you, of course, know Mr. Thornton as the monster-magazine enthusiast and drummer/vocalist for rock superstars The Boxmasters, although it turns out he’s also done some acting, and he’s not too bad at it.
